Inside NAVADO: The Art of Handcrafted Mirror Making in Vietnam

A decorative mirror can do more than reflect a room. Its shape, finish, and arrangement of glass can give a space its own character. NAVADO develops handcrafted mirror designs in Vietnam for residential interiors and potential custom collaborations. This look inside the creative process explains the decisions designers, distributors, and OEM/ODM partners can discuss before production.

Design begins with the room

A mirror should suit its setting as well as its intended use. A sculptural wall piece may serve as a focal point above a console, while a full-length mirror needs a clear reflection and suitable placement. The initial brief should identify the intended room, approximate dimensions, installation orientation, color palette, and desired visual effect.

Where handwork matters

Decorative mosaic designs depend on the relationship among individual reflective pieces. Edge treatment, spacing, alignment, and the balance of mirrored tones all affect the finished composition. Skilled hands can assess how small details work together across the complete design. NAVADO presents decorative mirror making as a blend of design and hand-finishing rather than a purely standard, repeated shape.

A practical brief for a custom mirror

Interior designers and sourcing teams can make early discussions more productive by sharing a sketch or visual reference, target dimensions, preferred shape and reflective finish, intended wall or room, estimated quantity, and any packaging or installation requirements. NAVADO can then discuss the design and relevant production details for the proposed project. Confirm material specifications, tolerances, samples, lead times, and commercial terms directly before placing an order.
